New French office inaugurated
Montpellier, 29th March 1999 –GFI, leading developer of communications software, today announced the opening of a new office in France. This inauguration is another significant step in GFI’s expansion strategy in line with the company’s bid to extend its global reach.
Located in Montpellier in the south of France, the new office is GFI’s sixth. The company also has offices in the US, UK, Germany, Australia and Malta, as well as operating through a worldwide network of distributors in the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia.
Roberto Franceschini, head of GFS France, says the French office will help lay the path for the company to venture into new markets: "The new office will allow GFI to expand its market share in France, by offering local support and localized products."

He holds a Masters degree in Economics and is one of the founders of GFI.
